Stopped off Tuesday to get info about their outreach program. I am going to volunteer my help next week. Have to get a back ground check first. We missed the service last Sunday. Changed the time from 10:30 am to 9:00 am. Looking forward to attending for the first time. Moved to Westport November 2020 & I want to get to know the community.

Does not help homeless people offer church or rehab services. The so called pastor is never there and uses financial donations. For personal use. They do not help the people they are supposed to be helping.

I tried all the churches in town since I've been here for years and this is my favorite Church.

I went with a friend for support as she searches for a goood chuch in her home town. The church is searching to hire a pastor it turned out. A young man was "trying out"(as it were). He tried to give a message on Mathew 25. To be honest it was hard to witness. This young man's view was extremely uninformed . He thought Jesus was about doing even more good deeds than ever. He had no grasp of being "born again". That one making Jesus Lord is what makes us a new creature in Christ and "good deeds"is then the natural change because of the Holy Spirit living inside us.I found it heart breaking.

Yes! We baptize believers. Feel free to come visit us on a Sunday if you'd like.

Why do you worship on Sunday? This the Catholic tradition not protestism. True protesters honor God's 7th day!

Brother thank you for the response. You are completely right in what you say. If we realy look into what Paul was saying, he was talking about fasting is a voluntary exercise of worship not a particular day. Once we come into the truth of this matter we then become in harmony with God and not the thinking of man. The context is the matter here, the Sabbath was established in the creation long before there was a Jew or Gentile and God had created the Sabbath rest for all people. The key word here is Rest, the 7th day is for rest. We are supposed to worship God in everything that we do. We were created for His pleasure and not our own. For humans to think that we have the authority to change God's 4th commandment is a transgression of God's law. No where in God's word has he transferred the changing of his word to man. I will pray for both of us that we both are in harmony with God. God bless.
