My family and I have been comming here for a long time. It was a favorite, there food was great, but now it is blan, no flavor, chips are cold and stail, dishes are served with 3/4 of onions for filler 1/8 of beans 1/16 of meat. Service is terrible. What happened?? You used to have great service great food, but honestly they have lost sight of their passion. We will not be returning as this has been slowly getting worse and I could go across the street to rigaburtos where their food isnt great but better. 😢

El Tapitios is a Mexican restaurant that we enjoyed several times a month for more than a dozen years. Having retired and left the area ten years ago, we decided it would be a good place to take my mom and sister for lunch. It was great, we haven't found a Mexican restaurant that we enjoy as well. The atmosphere and the food was was as good as I remember it. It will always be our "go-to" for Mexican food.

This restaurant is a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant and totally worth it. I can’t speak much on the sit down restaurant part of it but the bar and Ricky is what makes this place a home away from home. Ricky the bartender is amazing he is a hard worker and a amazing server. The drinks are consistently good and he cares about the quality of food and the time it takes to reach your table. If your looking for a place to relax and have a good time there is no place like El taps. You will not regret it. Shout out to the cooks too their food is always so good.

Good Mexican food, family and crowd friendly since 1984. Fun decor, and servers do work with us. Simple with a few speciality items which fits this location well.Good prices, and large portions. Servers are all ages and experiences, so senior staff helps. Overall caring pleasant staff. They work with my food allergies too.
