The corporate greed of sun outdoors has become ridiculous in their pricing!! Appearantly i struck a nerve posting my opinion on their ocean city Maryland site. I can now no longer post or like on there, essentially I have been censored by them!! You may think you can silence me but, I promise that won't happen in this lifetime. Your resorts are overpriced and frankly killing the camping experience for families. $750 for a weekend is ridiculous price for a family to pay to camp. Then you open up your park and play for the fall and only open 10 sites that are gone in 10 minutes. I guess corporate realized they could jack that price for Halloween and make more money instead of park and play for cheaper. It's truly a shame what sun outdoors has done to the camping industry, but I guess the CEO has to pay for their lifestyle some how. It's ridiculous I can stay in a hotel in ocean city Maryland and drink in the bars cheaper than I can in your campground. SHAME ON YOU SUN OUTDOORS!!

This was our first time staying in the park. The cabin was small but very clean. It was a good couple day getaway. It is in a travel park, all kinds of travel trailer from the biggest to the smallest. Mostly family's and there dogs and there to all sizes and shapes. And kids and all the kid chatter of kids playing outside, riding bikes, walking dogs, to and from the beach it is so good to here guy be excited again.

Excellent location. Nice they have their own beach and a dog beach. Love that they r dog friendly. Wish the cabin was a little cleaner. Hate they have old school doors on the shower. But I would stay again. We had fun.

We love coming here in our Rv. We prefer the site directly next to the playground because we have young kids who want to be there all day. So the convenience to me is worth the price. We also like the fenced in section because it has less traffic. Although the gate is broken and golf cart traffic is a free for all. I personally wish they had someone at the gate to do key checks just to keep the traffic out. After all you are paying more for this gated area so you should still have the privacy benefits even if the gate is broken. I also wish the private pool was monitored because I have seen park guest have the code and go right in. Again if your paying more then you should get what you are paying for. Overall I highly recommend this resort to families. So kid friendly, staff is very nice and helpful.

What is the difference between cabin rentals and the castaway rentals?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that, however you have club castaway cottages, island oasis cottages and interior cottages. Club castaways is separated from the rest of the park and has its own gate but is extremely close to the water. You should have some view of the water no matter where you are at in club castaways. Island oasis is close to the beach that they have and the beach bar. Interior cottages are very nice but do not have any view of the water or anything.
