Normandy animal hospital is probably the first vet that I actually didn't have anxiety taking my cat to. I had a senior cat that I needed to bring in urgently due to unusual behavior. When I called they got me set up with an urgent care appointment where I could just drop him off and they would fit him in between scheduled appointments. Within a few hours they called me with a diagnosis and we went from there. I met with Dr. Wiser on his 3 week checkup and she was unbelievably sweet and personable explaining to me everything I needed to know going forward with caring for my senior cat. Unfortunately, he took a turn for the worst and I had to take him into several ER vets and specialists that was out of Normandy's realm, but Dr. Wiser stayed current with his diagnosis, medications, and reached out a few times herself to check on me and how he was doing. I can't say I've ever had a vet go the lengths she did. When he kept getting worse I called Dr. Wiser and explained to her what was happening, she calmly and sensitively talked me through everything and my next steps which included euthanasia. She never pushed anything on me or tried to lean me in one direction or the other, she just helped me through it all. As a 27 year old with a cat that I've had since I was 12 it was all extremely hard to handle and she made me feel like I wasnt alone. When it came time to say goodbye to my boy I called and Nick at the front desk walked me through everything regarding their euthanasia process, times, appointments, etc with such empathy. Then when I chose a different cremation route than what they offered, Whitney, one of the vet techs, was able to give me the information on the creamtion company I chose (which she happened to know about) and even personally called the company herself to make sure I had all the information needed and walked me through it all with such empathy and compassion. Everyone I had the pleasure of meeting at Normandy was so kind and understanding of my cats needs. Definitely will be bringing my other cat to them!

Normandy Animal Hospital was able to take my girl Murphy at a moments notice, and they patched her up well. The staff is very personable and remembers their clients. Like a small country town vet.

I switched to Normandy Animal Hospital after my previous vet retired. Everyone here has been really courteous, helpful, kind, and caring. I’ve been a client for a few months now and have been very happy with the care they provide my dog and the effort they put in to give great service to their clients.
