We arrived at Hama for lunch, after looking for a restaurant in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the fish! It took a while for our order to be served, but the staff was kind and apologetic. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice sushi place, not crazy expensive.

Go to sushi place in midtown Manhattan. Subterranean location on north side of Rock Center. Fair prices and good food/service-- hard to come by in this part of town.

Wow! This restaurant continued to impress throughout our meal. Great service, lovely interior. Food was absolutely amazing, and of extremely high quality. Highly recommend the sushi/sashimi combo!! With nearly 30-40 wonderfully crafted pieces displayed on a beautiful bridge; each is unique with a variety of accompanying sauces. Food comes up within 10 mins of ordering (great for hungry family members!) I guarantee this is an experience like no other. Highly underrated, so I hope you will come here!

Had the chicken katsu and it’s this huge portion with warm japanese salad and this house made katsu sause that has the creamy consistency of chocolate dip, really enjoyed it and the service plus atmosphere was top notch, definitely recommend
