Ramada by Wyndham Jamaica/Queens

THIS PLACE NO LONGER EXISTS!! I tried to book a night at Ramada, but the hotel has been sold by Wyndham and became “Hillcrest Hotel”, a horrible place to stay! Look up reviews if you want, but note that the addresses for both Ramada and Hillcrest are the same. Wyndham NEEDS TO CANCEL THIS PLACE ON GOOGLE MAPS IMMEDIATELY, I was almost scammed into going to its very unsanitary replacement!! Be warned!

The staff were kind and were helpful. The room was clean. Everything worked well. Lots of pillows were on the bed (I love pillows. The more, the merrier!) The only reason why my review is one star short of 5 is because the bathroom constantly smelled of cigarettes and/or weed. Either way, I'll definitely be coming back!

To me personally, I found this hotel to be great ! I went here last week and it was definitely worth it if you are a student and have a tight budget. The continental breakfast was simple but it was enough to get my day started. There was egg, sausages, coffee, waffles, etcetera. I booked the room with a king size bed and overall it was clean and comfortable. The AC was a bit loud but that didn't bother me at night. They had a coffee maker and also a refrigerator as well! The only thing bad was that the ice machine wasn't working.The woman at the lobby was very friendly and helped me and my boyfriend get a room smoothly without any problem. I liked how close it was from the bus stations and also the F train so I traveled to manhattan easily. I would come here again definitely!

Overall it is good. Clean hotel. The neighborhood is OK. It is in an Indian neighborhood so it is peaceful and if you are not racist it is OK. When we checkout the charge disappeared from our account and then we were charged $80 more. Nobody knows why and they cannot do anything about it.... Very upsetting
