After losing our first Yorkie (from a different breeder) to kidney failure at 11 years old, we were devastated. There was no question we would get another as we fell in love with the breed, but we needed to wait a while to grieve. So we followed the Joyful Yorkies web and FB pages for a long time. The regular postings, photos and videos helped convince us this is a legitimate breeder. Yes the pups are expensive but no more than other professional breeders, and hopefully this helps ensure that owners are serious about the taking on the responsibilities of a Yorkie pup. Our new little girl Sasha from Joyful Yorkies is bold and playful with a huge personality! Our vet confirmed she is healthy. Elena is very fast to respond to any questions and provides starter food, pee pads, a blanket and a toy to go home with your puppy. She checks in with you to ask how the pup is doing. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I adopted Mia from Joyful Yorkie in February. Elena was very responsive and helpful. I texted her the night before I adopted Mia, with questions and she was happy to help. Elena also reached out to me after the adoption to make sure she was adjusting well, which shows how much she cares. Mia is the sweetest puppy, and she is wonderful with my children. She is also very smart - our trainer often used her as an example in class because she learns tricks so easily. I can’t say enough good things about Mia - thank you!
