Well stocked store, with of course the occasional missing items due to the ongoing supply chain problems, but not a severe problem at this store. The employees are great and very helpful. He sure to check out the clearance racks bear the bathrooms. I've not had a negative experience here.

You have to watch things that you buy at Safeway because they'll sell you some outdated stuff and you won't even know it. Yesterday I bought some clam chowder and got home and looked at the date on the bottom two days later and it says expired 2009 that's not right and then they wouldn't take it back because I didn't have the receipt I had through this receipt away and I go there all the time.

In the past few months, I noticed I prefer the Safeway on Bernal over Santa Rita. The deli is more fresh and the place is cleaner than this Safeway. EDIT: They’ve added new freezers and upgraded the layout. It’s way cleaner than before. Can’t wait to see it when it’s finished!

Better Safeway that is normally well stocked and clean. Staff is always nice and helpful.
