Walked the shoreline and came across this huge boat launch, large enough for 8 boats and also piers to dock temporarily. Watched several boats launch and get trailered very entertaining. There is about a one mile paved walkway along the shire many people using it. Enjoyed the location much and watching tge boats go out to sea.

If you love the water, this is the place to be. My family comes here almost weekly to picnic, watch boats, ships and military aircraft go by. Big grass area for kids soccer play. Handicap parking and nearby bathrooms a plus. A great family location.

Really fun to watch birds, pelicans, boaters and fishers coming and going. Bathrooms & Outboard motor club nearby, next pier has dining!!

Issac is correct; I don't know if you can sleep in your truck w/boat attached overnight; campers, motorhomes, and people living in their vehicles can't stay here past 10 p.m.
Ben - true, but some boaters block parking spots for non-boaters (😡) to do what they feel necessary. Harbor PD chases them off when they see that happening. There are designated boater spots to do what you need other than washing - without blocking parking.
Use the designated spots near the ramp, and yes, I see it all the time.
Yes
I believe so
End of 2018
Yup
Not currently but hopefully there will be when construction is done. SI launch is currently closed due to construction.
Not to the public. Only for seal boats.
Nope, it will be a while.
