Cute and fun! Went here for a graduation party for a friend. Park seemed clean, had a playground for the kids, ample seating, and a reasonable bathroom. Don’t touch the water though, obviously.

Yes. A sheltered bay area in front of the park allows someone to paddle away from the channel and boat traffic. It's close to the Rondout waterfront as well as the lighthouse.
