Great Italian food. Service was quick and courteous. Highly recommend the gnocchi!

Some good, some not so good. Went to this restaurant while traveling during a week night. The restaurant seemed clean and a friendly environment, not fancy. Ordered a couple of dinner meals for my wife and I. 1. Shrimp dinner of some sort in a cream sauce. The sauce was good, but he shrimp and pasta was swimming in the sauce, not well put together. There were only 5 shrimp, and the shrimp were left with the tails. Parts of the dish were hot enough; other parts were not. 2. Special of the night. Ordered a veil over hollow pasta. Again, the red sauce was good, dish was served hot, but the veil was more of a chunked or shredded veil and overly well done. The generous amount of sauce is what saved this meal. What was the shocker was the bill, the special was $32, well above the average $20 of other dinner meals on the menu. Nowhere did I see this posted. This is kind of BS trick you normally find in big city restaurants, I did not expect this. For this amount, I would have expected an actual piece of veil properly cooked. I would still say that this would be a good place to go and eat, but stick to what I believe must be in their wheel house, sandwiches, standard pasta meals, and the typical menu fair. I wish there was a 2.5 star rating, that is where I would really see this place rated from our experience.

Angee's is one of my favorite places to eat. It's a family owned and operated business with seating inside and outside (weather permitting) and live music a few times a week. The wait staff is fantastic and the food is delicious.

Really cute place that felt like it had the real local charm and helped you get to know Olean. Quite casual, some people clearly came here to socialize with friends over the bar for a few hours. There were also family groups and the joint had a great atmosphere. Food was very filling and overall tasted good, especially for a small town. Very large portion sizes! Although the salad was large, if you're from the city, I wouldn't count on it being the most innovative (think iceberg lettuce). Pizza seemed to be a local favourite so we ordered one and was it ever filling! Penne and meatballs were good, felt very home style. Would suggest that the restaurant bring out the pasta when it's done to avoid noodles getting soft (seemed to be an issue in the town in general).

They should be able to accommodate your request for a large group. Alternatively, if they cannot, I would highly recommend The Bistro...they can accommodate groups up to 50. Thank you for your question today!
They are back opened on the 12th they took some extra time off from the 4th of July
Try The Brother's Bistro.✅
