Used to be family pass holders, every year for 10+ years. No longer. Owner/operator seems to have cornered the local ski market with the purchase of Tog, which was sold for a song. Since that time, overall condition has not improved, but arguably has gone down in many ways. As one post mentioned, it seems that profit has been placed far above quality, maintenance, and facility reinvestment. I’m sure they will do fine financially without me; I’ve just stopped going and choose to ski less frequently and go farther out to Greek and others.

Song is great. The bunny hill is a tremendous way for young skiers to get comfortable. Lots of fun all around. On Sundays, Song has to open more than just the bunny hill lift and the triple chair. I don't mean when 3-4 trails were open, I mean now when 19 trails are open. Last week was very busy, and the triple chair line extended all the way to the lodge. One hour lessons took TWO runs. Song Birds didn't even go on the triple chair. You can't have people pay to take three runs in 2 hours. So pretty please, with sugar on top, open the double chair.

The lift lines have been way too long. I heard the double opened later today but I had already left. Weekdays before 3:30 have been fine. They simply need to run all available lifts when there are crowds.

I am a season pass holder and I'm extremely unsatisfied with both song mountain and labrador (same owner). If you're looking for a place to ski and pay for a day pass - look elsewhere. It's really too bad because the mountains themselves are pretty good - but management & the owner - peter harris - doesn't really seem to care about more than the bottom line. So far this season, every single day I've gone - the lines have been extremely long and there has not been enough lifts operating. Many times it's more than a 20 minute wait in line. There seems to be plenty of people buying passes and plenty of staff for selling food, etc - but not enough to staff lifts - you really need to prioritize running a ski resort first. There are countless other issues that seem to go unanswered - like a lack of reliable wifi (especially at labrador) and an excess of trash under the chairlifts. I posted concerns on their facebook page and instead of responding, they just deleted my comment (and comments from multiple other people with similar problems). I've included some pictures of the lift line - two long lines that merge together because only one chair lift was open.

Bali Hai. It's nice and wide. If you can do a blue trail then you can handle Bali Hai.
