We were staying at a cabin a 10 minute drive away and booked for Saturday dinner for my wife and I. Just blown away by the quality of food and attentive service at the Bullhouse tucked into lovely Chestertown, NY. Great food, very fair prices and a great staff made for a wonderful evening. Any chance you could share the recipe for the Superfood Salad? My wife fell in love with it and we live 200 miles away.

Would have given a higher rating, but the manager had absolutely no personality and while we were still eating this girl just starts sweeping the rugs right next to us raising all kinds of dust. Our waitress was fantastic and no real complaints on our meals. Just wasn't made to feel comfortable, so probably won't go back.

Tonight I neglected to tell Jeff, our waiter, how very delicious the fish special was. It was cooked absolutely perfect, and was so flavorful. Everything else, as usual, was delectable!!! Thanks for always providing a great atmosphere and consistently delicious food!

What a gem! The menu is unbelievable and very interesting! I have lived in several urban areas and this restaurant ranks among the very best! Make sure you say hello to Sharron, Erik and Jeff! They have daily specials, so make sure you ask. I enjoyed the charcuterie for dinner one night. It was huge and items were very pleasingly placed within a huge Bavarian pretzel. The next night I enjoyed a super healthy bowl with grilled chicken. And don't miss the bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese! Amazing! My husband enjoyed the specials both nights...a burger and ribs! All delicious! Don't miss this gem! We will be back! Lynn and John
