In the spring I took my Lincoln Town Car in to the Oswego Mavis Tire/Cole Muffler for an inspection. It is our third car and I don’t drive it very much. About a week later I noticed the rear of the car was substantially higher, looking ‘jacked up’. The older Lincoln’s have an air suspension that must be turned off before going on a car lift. I went back to Mavis and I was told they turned off the suspension because they know to do that, and they would not have returned the car to me like that. I called around quite a bit before I could find a place that could repair it, and the nearest place was a Lincoln dealership 45 minutes away. That was 1.5 hours to drop it off, for me and my wife, and then another 1.5 hours to pick it up. 6 hours total for the two of us. I spent about another two hours researching, visiting shops and calling. Had to wait weeks to schedule an appointment at the Lincoln dealership as they were backed up. The repair is about $500 for a ride height sensor. The tech confirmed to me that it was caused by going up on a lift without the air suspension being turned off.

Made a call and got in the very next morning. Service was done quickly and done right for a fair price. The guy I dealt with through the process was great. I’m happy and I’ll go back whenever I need.

The guys over here at Mavis in Oswego are a good bunch of guys. Tom, Darrell, and Tyler do a fantastic job at running this place. They’ve always been straight up and honest with me whether it is good news or bad news. And I always have a good experience. When they can, they try and get me in as quick as possible if I am a walk-in. Can’t say enough good things. And of course their prices are always very fair. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here.

I went there today to get an oil change, unfortunately they weren’t able to because whomever I bought the car from decided to flex seal my oil pan. The manager and employees were very helpful and extremely caring. Even though they couldn’t help me with the oil change but they did however put more oil in my truck to make sure it was safe to drive home. As well as gave me a name of a place that might be able to help me. I would absolutely recommend going to these guys for help with your car or truck.

Mavis in Oswego doesn't I work there
Yes, the price to perform an oil change varies by your car’s model and the type of oil it uses. We offer synthetic and conventional options.
