Escaping into the embrace of mother nature is always good for the soul of any city dwellers. The trail provides a nice steep climb to the top, giving explorers a perfect view of the surrounding. The ground can be slippery when wet and the park will close when its extremely muddy.

Beautiful spring flowers and lots of trails to hike. Very nice bathrooms at the playground/ building at the bottom. I wish trail names were more clearly marked. We were easily confused by branching trails and had to resort to our phones to be sure we were on the trail we wanted.

Love this place! Get lost in the country, hike in the woods minutes from home. Quiet peaceful trails, Well marked most of the time, Unfortunately you have vandals ripping down and destroying trail markers. Looks like most of them have been replaced so currently trails are Well marked , I do recommend bringing a trail map or taking a picture on your phone of the map at the beginning of the trail.

Love this place. Beautiful local hike if you don't feel like driving very far. No full time water features, but spectacular views of the valley and awesome rock formations.

This road has been closed every time i have every been to the gate over the past few years
Honestly, this park is all inclines. There is an asphalt trail around the play field that my 88 year old mother in law can walk easily. That's about it. This park is all about inclines. Any direction you go, you are climbing so that you can get to some very picturesque views of Spokane Valley. Have you tried the centennial trail as it goes through eastern Spokane Valley? It has long flat parts that go on forever!
You'll have to call the parks department and ask them.
I didn't see any of that, so it's good you reported it.
Yes, but they have to be kept on a leash and you must clean up after them. Hope this was helpful 😊
