Jimmy's offers a fine dining Italian restaurant experience close to Mirror Lake. The food is good but not great - I struggled with the bones in my Salmon and the pastas lacked flavor. Relative to some of the other places in the region, I felt the experience didn't live up to the check.

My family has been visiting this restaurant for years. Wonderful. Great menu, delicious homemade meals. You should consider stopping while you're in Lake Placid. Save room for dessert.

Table was wonderful especially since I am Handicap..we were on the main floor looking out at the lake..The restaurant has 3 floors upstairs and downstairs too..downstairs put you right at the edge of the lake..upstairs you have a unbelievable view of the town(main street) or the lake..Food as always outrageous!! We have been coming to Jimmy's 21 for almost 15 yrs..and ever time we find something new to try!! But you need to make reservations to get the table you want especially if you have a large party of people. If there is only 2 or 4 in your party you can try to walk in. But we always make reservations..Food and people outrageous and view wow!!
