Nice venue at former Music Hall, walking distance from downtown Rochester NY. Tall ceilings with large windows, perfect for a wedding because of the lighting and acoustics for the band. There are two adjacent parking lots, one right outside the venue, the other adjacent, both are perfectly safe and close distance to the hall. The hall is spacious and the bathrooms are on the same level on opposite sides of the hall toward the front of the building. The bar was set up on one side of the hall and my only complaint was that they didn't serve alcohol during the dinner portion of the wedding - only during cocktail hour and after dinner. This particular wedding had a buffet style dinner which was immediately removed after everyone finished eating to allow for a roomier dance floor.

This is a wonderful historical event center. Whenever I am there I think about all of the formal dances that were held last century.

Just had my wedding here this past weekend. Mary Kay was great in helping us plan out the day. I lost track of the number of guests who had positive comments to say about the food. I would definitely recommend the Harro East Ballroom!

My sister and brother inlaw had their wedding at this location... what a stunning venue with art decor charm, an amazing staff and great food as well
