Last weekend was the first time I was at St Joseph Catholic Church in Portland. Went to attend a healing weekend. They had a fabulous priest Father Patrick. The bishop Peter was there and was so supportive and caring. I have never been in a Catholic Church where I felt so welcomed and I just want to say thank you and I am looking forward to coming back for another service

St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church is an absolutely beautiful church! Friendly, and kind staff, and parishioners! I was there for an evening funeral, and the Father who performed the eulogy was very good. St. Joseph has a beautiful baptism pool with a gigantic stained glass mural of John baptizing Jesus right behind the baptism pool.. The work is stunning! In the main chapel there is a wonderful mural along the north wall that shows 12 mini bios with brass and gold 2 dimensional photos of each disciple. Also very stunning. This church gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the beautiful chapel murals and great works they do, in delivering food boxes 6 days a week! I use to help with the food deliveries on Saturdays with my good friend Kim, and her mother JoAnne (before she passed away). She will be dearly missed! Thank you St. Joseph for the beautiful celebration of life ceremony! You are truly a wonderful church!

They were having a furniture giveaway, and I got some awesome things. The people running this event were so helpful, and they also passed out mask to those who needed them. Can't wait for the next one!!

Father Ted is incredible. Parishioners are wonderful. Mass 7 days a week. Latin Mass Saturday mornings. English, Spanish, and Burmese Mass on Sundays.

Yes before every mass.
Yes, a Contemplative Mass includes Holy Communion. It is a peaceful, reflective Mass. If you have young children they might prefer the Family Mass at 4pm. It is lighter and brighter, including a children's choir.

I'm not sure. Our pastor is on a pilgrimage but the substitute might have them before services as we usually do. I suggest calling the parish office or take a chance and come early.
The confessions are before mass. Mass in Spanish is at 1, so the confessions are around 12:30
