My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Bloomington and chose Big Woods based on recommendations from the staff at our hotel. We were very very happy all around with our experience. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. We opted for indoor. Great decor that feels very on brand with the name. Our server was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the restaurant, menu and brewery. Drinks are delicious and strong, food was amazing. I highly suggest the pretzel and cheese for an app and the go big burger. We will definitely return, I want to try the pizza next! Thanks for a wonderful evening Big Woods!

I stopped by here for a beer and some food while I was passing through Bloomington. It's a nice and friendly pub with outdoor seating as well as a bar inside. I ordered an IPA and the fish and chips. They were excellent. The place was pretty crowded on a weekday evening, which is a good sign that it's pretty popular with the locals. I would go here again and I probably will if I ever find myself back in Bloomington again.

Quaint little place for a quick bite and some brews! Staff was friendly and the food was good. We had breadsticks with nacho cheese and garlic butter…absolutely delicious! Then we both got our own 10” pizzas. Hubby got hand tossed crust with pepperoni and banana peppers, and I had the Primal pizza with a thin crust. Pretty good stuff! Give this place a try if in the area!

Great spot in Bloomington. Loved the maple chicken sandwich it was the bomb. Unfortunately I was driving so I did not get to sample their great selection of microbrews but I will be back to do that. Excellent and friendly service as well. Lots of outdoor dining options.
