This is place is beautiful as always. The food is delicious and the cocktails are the best! They have a great variety of their own unique cocktails. The food portions are good and the desserts are good too. The menu does change it’s never the same but I don’t know how often it changes.. but I think that’s a good thing. They always have good choices..The staff is very helpful and polite and always making sure you are taken care of. I highly recommend for a nice date night with your husband like we did :).. or with friends.

SUR is one of the finest restaurants I have dined at since the pandemic. My wife and I have eaten out a lot since covid restrictions have been eased and have found the quality of food and service has declined. Not at SUR! From your hostess to your wait staff, service is top notch. My son has food allergies and they were able to accommodate his allergies. Food was fantastic. The chef does wonderfully at preparing your meal from a variety of menu items. Keep in mind the menu is a bit pricey, but it is worth the cost.

Chicken Picatta : 7/10 : it was great in flavor, but it was a bit cold. Fettuccine : 7/10: although it was Alfredo style, it needed more creaminess it tasted more buttery if anything the butter overtook the flavor of the actual dish. Dumplings : 8/10 they tasted great but nothing spicy at all haha Food took about 20 mins and did not come very hot. I'm assuming they brought everything out at the same time for that reason causing some food to be sitting getting cold. Parking is super packed on the street. You can find parking for 15$ all day in the front of the restaurant

Overall good experience, but not a 5 yet. Starting with waiting at the bar…They took forever checking my ID because I’m from out of town. The manager came out to ask me what’s the problem and I’m like I have no idea I’m just trying to order a drink. Eventually got my drink and it was not bad. Nothing out of the world but pretty to look at. They had a cute outdoor garden area to wait. Our table was ready right at our reservation time. Had a cute outdoor corner table and there were enough heaters everywhere so it felt warm! The fried goat cheese balls were really good and seemed to come out fresh. Loved the chimchurri dip with the bread! The Joe’s fettuccine was really tasty - although the sauce was thinner than we expected it to be but still tasted 💯. The real showstopper was the braised beef short rib which came out perfectly. It was cooked to perfection and sooo tender. Finished every bite and wanted more! Overall service was fine too. It seems like couple servers work an area so you can always find someone. They regularly checked on us for more drinks and provided recommendations.

I am currently watching tonight’s episode of Vanderpump Rules. An I LITERALLY just thought of that before I google Sur’s menu. It’ll definitely be great to have some people of color on screen with the show. Because it speaks volumes that you don’t see ANY & it’s been multiple seasons.

Just book a week in advance and you'll be fine. It's never that busy. Even a few days before is fine
A little expensive, but to go out for a special occasion, it's fine. Food is good and so are the drinks.
I believe you can't make reservations in the bar area, it is first come first served. But in the restaurant area yes I would make reservations.

It's a evening restaurant. I was just there and I didn't see anything like that. We had roast duck in plum sause and blackend scallops. The fried goat cheese balls are good.
I didn't really notice (I believe they had uneven floors) but I wouldn't recommend it, especially on Pride.

My husband had a ribeye steak and we are from the Midwest and I have never tasted anything close to that here in Nebraska. Absolutely the best steak I've ever tasted by far. I had the lobster and crab ravioli and that was to die for!! We stayed at the Chamberlain hotel which is only a couple blocks off of Santa Monica Boulevard and we were able to walk to dinner at Sur and stop at PUMP for dessert on our way back to the hotel 🙂
Hi there! Yes, apparently the cast must stay on payroll to be on the show. They typically dont work often, but there's still a possibility of seeing them! When we went, we saw Peter the manager and a couple workers from the kitchen that have made appearances. The food was amazing, and the restaurant looks exactly like it does on the show.

Well knowing what an animal lover Lisa Vanderpump is, I would expect it is. Probably depends on the size of the dog. Best to call and find out.
I think the guy means the Rosé, like the alcoholic beverage. But I could be wrong.
I am not an employee at Sur restaurant however for what I know about Lisa Vanderpump get an interview charm her she cares about people and dogs good luck.
No positive about brunch but I would not be surprised if they do have brunch. SUR (Sexy Unique Resturant) is a classy, sexy yet casual a la carte restaurant with a full bar. Dinner with drinks per person figure $ 25 ish...
