My honest review as a novice gym junkie: I am visiting in town and I must say I do believe this gym is geared to older folks. Most of the equipment looked outdated, in terms of their functions. For example: The leg press does not come all the way down and the foot plate was weirdly designed. Because of this, it really put pressure on my knees and I did not feel comfortable pressing my usual 700+ pounds of weight on this leg day. The option to sit up really brings you forward as well and by it not coming down further felt like I was doing box squats, but in the leg press version. The stair stepper did not function properly. I had the belt on and pressed my pelvis all the way into the mechanism where the functions are and it still was too slow. I tried to pull the cable out further and just held it as I tried to climb, hoping it would go faster, but it did not. The Smith machine also doesn't go all the way down, so I'm unable to do a deep squat or hip thrusts. The bar is thinner than other Smith machines I've used. The lock on it is not designed well and because there are rather large gaps inbetween levels, I was either on my tippy toes to get bar up or squatting quite a bit, making the whole process uncomfortable as my position were out of normal alignment. The leg extention machine, the handle to hold on and the the handle to adjust the height made me nervous, because the height adjustment handle came close to my hand. I had to be sure to keep my hand closed fully around the grip handle. Someone with bigger hands might get them pinched. I ended up doing 110 pound RDL's, used the spin bike, used the cable machine for kick-backs and walked the treadmill at an incline. Their backroom is nice. They have wifi. Cubby's to put your things, bathrooms and I really didn't explore the rest while I was there. Again, I do believe this is great for an older crowd for sure, but I felt like I fell short during my workout. I was also a guest here.

Absolutely horrible. My wife and I worked out there, and it was pleasant enough. However she developed a disease which makes it hard for her to stand, let alone work out. First off they wouldn't let her cancel. They told her she had to CONTINUE TO PAY for membership. After allot of back and forth they agreed if she dropped off a doctor's note, they would cancel it. After months later we get a message from some lawyers saying the debt is $1,024 dollars and ARE TAKING HER TO COURT! They are trying to bully people into paying for their Failing business! What kind of sick company prosecutes a woman who CANT walk for a gym membership? The answer? Anytime fitness. Think before you get into bed with a company who would do such a thing. Feel free to contact me to fix this.
